KO film review of the week ~ Midnight in Paris

Thank God for another good Woody Allen film! I had a date night last night with my husband (who feel asleep during the film) to see the new Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris. I absolutely loved the film, it was light hearted, funny, and encompassed majority of my post-secondary curriculum. Owen Wilson was expressive and aloof, reminded me and seemed to embody Allen himself throughout the film. This film really reminded me of Anything Else (Woody Allen 2003), over analytical, romantic, and great dialog between characters.

Midnight in Paris was a great film for literary/art/film buffs, but I kept thinking to myself throughout the film… I don’t think most people are going to know who all these characters are? Like Gertrude Stein for example. I would have also love to see Peggy Guggenheim in the film as well, I think she would have be fabulously entertaining.
